The government have implemented a system allowing pharmacies to provide flu and covid vaccinations to try and ease the load on general practice.

All of our staff are trained, and we are ready to help.

The same criteria for eligibility for the COVID vaccine applies nationally and it doesn't matter where you have your vaccination. All vaccination centres are applying the same eligibility criteria.

Advice to have flu and COVID vaccinations is based on guidance from the NHS. The guidance comes from an expert group who review all the available research and data. The guidance is gold standard care based on everything we know at present as well as the experience of the vaccines so far..  There is no doubt that the vaccines have prevented many severe illnesses and deaths. We will continue to provide the service based on national guidelines.

We are providing 15 minute appointments so people will not be rushed and will have time to ask questions.

We have a new separate consulting room for the vaccination service so this will not interfere with our other services

It is  safe to have both vaccinations together and this is recommended. This is best as the immunity from the vaccination starts at the same time for both illnesses. However, some people do prefer to have the vaccines separately. We are happy to do the vaccinations separately if you prefer.

It is our duty to use NHS resources wisely, unfortunately covid vaccines come in 5 dose vials and once these are mixed they must be used withing 3 hours, this means we must make sure we arrange appointments to ensure we use all of the vaccines in a vial.

However, many people feel they have a high risk/exposure to flu because of their work, but do not qualify for NHS vaccinations. Teachers/receptionists would be examples, in general people who have contact through work with a lot of people.. The vaccines are licenced for adults. Our Price is £22.50
